Why do we have to pay our bills, clean our house, wash those clothes? Why do we have to pay our bills, clean our house, wash those clothes? … It seems we do all these things and nobody notices, or do they? When we pay attention to the details… for example: when we add a sprig of fresh flowers to the tables at the annual meeting; when we clean our houses or cook dinner for our family… and add special touches to them; we are showing our love for others. Love for our family, Love for our church, Love for God. Love is in the details, but more importantly… God is in the details. Sometimes when I’m cleaning and everything is quiet, I get to spend some alone time with God. It keeps me grounded, keeps me sane, keeps me happy. So today – notice the details that someone you love has quietly put in place because they love you and in return, pay attention to the details when doing something for them. Even if they fail to notice it, they will …in their spirit… feel the love. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Psalm 128:2
