White Pigeon

When you wake up with joy in your heart,

When the person you love holds your hand,

When your child takes their first steps,

When a smile brightens your day,

When the butterfly flies by your window,

And when the white pigeon soars,

I’ll be there.

When you wake up sad and lonely,

And you want to cocoon in a ball and cry,

When there’s no song in your heart anymore,

And you’re falling apart at the seams,

When no one bothers to call,

When the butterfly flies by your window,

And when the white pigeon soars,

I’ll be there.

When you’re neither happy nor sad,

When the stress of everyday living creeps up,

When every day is a chore,

And you’re just holding on by a thread,

When everyone else seems to have it all together,

And all you want to do is scream,

When the butterfly flies by your window,

And when the white pigeon soars,

I’ll be there.
