Focus on the positive…

We worry about our kids, our husbands, our family, our jobs, our looks..  We notice our boobs aren’t in the same place they used to be, our hair is grey, and our feet hurt!  We try to do it all, to be strong, to be organized, to be healthy, to be a good wife, mother, daughter, friend.  We try to find time for ourselves, try to find time for family, we feel torn.  We notice that everything costs more and the money coming in — is the same or less.  We feel frazzled, we feel stress, we feel overwhelmed.  The doctor says…here take a pill you’ll feel better.  The husband says…money’s tight.  The kids say…take me to the mall.  The cats say… feed me (okay they don’t really talk, but they sit & look at their food bowl like they’re starving)

Laundry is piled up, the bathroom needs to be cleaned.  What will get you through??… What will help you survive?  How do you deal with stress?  Here’s what to do…  Smile, count your blessings, find something that brings you joy, Ask yourself — who loves you?, who do you love?  What is good in my life right now?   Focus on the positive, look for the good.  And if all else fails, plan a girls night and invite me!  I’ll bring the wine. 🙂
