Opening Windows…

Have you ever noticed that when one part of your life stops, or comes to a screeching halt like when you lose a friend, or a job; you move or graduate; something is taken away; changes or ends; … there is always something else that begins.

Maybe it’s a new friendship, or another job opportunity.  If you look for the new beginning, you will find it.  Sometimes you’re so angry and upset looking at the thing that has ended that you can’t see what is beginning, and it’s not until much later when you step back and discover unexpected gifts in your life, like a new friendship, an opportunity, a new or better way of living that would not have been in your life before.

Sometimes life shuts the door for you and you have no choice, other times you can close the door yourself.  Is it time to close the door and open a window??

& Closing Doors…

Here are some Close the door/ Open the window phrases I’ve thought of, can you think of some others to add to the list?  I’d love to hear them!

Shut the door to worry and…
Open the window of loving life and contentment.

Shut the door to bad relationships and…
Open the window to renewing old friendships and discovering new ones.

Shut the door to unhealthy living and…
Open the window to healthy living and perfect health.

Shut the door to stress and…
Open the window to quiet meditation and peace.

Shut the door to financial problems and…
Open the window of unexpected opportunities.

Shut the door to work, work, work and…
Open the window to a job you love!!!

Revelation 3:8
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open
door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
